A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for a storm that is expected to bring significant snow, bitterly cold temperatures, and gusting winds to Central New York.
The National Weather Service has updated their predicted snowfall totals as of Friday morning, March 2, for Northern Oneida and Southern Oneida county, including the cities of Boonville, Rome, and Utica.
March is taking this whole "in like a lion" thing seriously. A winter storm is set to dump 6 -12 ins of snow on the Utica/Rome area starting tonight through Saturday.
It looks like winter doesn't want to end quietly, with this big winter storm hitting Central New York and all over the Northeast. It's not the worst news we could get this week, though.
