"Captain America:The Winter Soldier" makes its North American debut this weekend and the Marvel flick is already breaking records, here and overseas.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie has already passed the $100 million mark overseas as of Wednesday and that number will go up since it opened yesterday in Russia and today in China.

Advance ticket sales have also been very good for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."  On Thursday, the movie became Fandango's top selling April title in Fandango's 14 year history.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" cost $170 million to make and is the sequel to "Captain America" which made $360 million worldwide.

This second Captain America movie has gotten very favorable reviews and could top $90 million this weekend, which could also break box office records.
