The Herkimer Diamond Days event is back for it's 3rd year, and it looks like a great return to those good old fashioned street festivals we all grew up with.

The businesses and residents in Herkimer sure know how to put together a great festival. And this year's Diamond Days really has something for everyone. From food trucks to street vendors, magicians to comedians, basketball and live music, even a scavenger hunt for the kids. Here's a look at some of the activities.

Friday, August 4, 2017 -

  • 4:30-7:30pm - Chicken BBQ presented by Herkimer PBA, Boy Scouts Hot Dog Sale, Food trucks - North Main St, Herkimer
  • 5:30-8pm - Live music from Light The Fuse
  • 8:30-12:30 - Live music from Under The Gun
  • 9:30pm - Local comedian Phil Canarelli
  • 9:45pm - Local comedian Brendan McGurk

Saturday, August 5, 2017 -

  • Food & Street vendors set up along North Main St all day with a children's scavenger hunt at each vendor booth
  • 10am - 1st Annual Youth 3-3 Street Basketball Tournament on Mary St
  • 11-12:30pm - Live music from Steve Napalitano
  • 11-2pm - Utica Zoo Mobile
  • 11:30-4:30pm - Dunk Tank presented by the Salvation Army
  • 9-3pm - Car Show at Myers Park hosted by the Herkimer Elk's Lodge
  • 1-4pm - ARC Celebration of the Spirit Concert (420 E German St)
  • 1-1:30 & 3-3:30pm - Magician Jim Okey
  • 4-5pm - Live music from No Reason
  • 5:30-8pm - Live music from Light The Fuse
  • 8:30-12:30pm - Live music from Maddhaus (sponsored by Skinner & Damulis)
