What Is December Bad For?

As Andy Williams sings, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” There is nothing but happiness in the air, but maybe not for some people. What’s sadly more common this time of the year?

According to Facebook, breakups are actually more common before Christmas than at any other time of year. A survey based on 10,000 Facebook status updates found that the number of relationship breakups rises in December.

The most breakups seem to come two weeks before Christmas. Christmas Day however, has the fewer breakups than any other day in the year. Why is it this time of year has the most breakups? Is it stress? Or is it being to cheap to buy gifts?
