Who Should Play Mr. Fifty Shades of Grey in the Movie?

With the success of the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy, there’s talk of making the books into a movie.  So who should play the mysterious, sexy Mr. Grey?

Fans of the books are pushing for Matt Bomer to star as the infamous Christian Grey.  One fan even went so far as to create an Entertainment Weekly cover with Bomer as Grey.  Not a bad choice, but he’s not who I see when I read the book.

Here’s my top choices to play Mr Grey.  Do you agree?  Who do you see when you read Fifty Shades?

1. George Clooney

I know George Clooney is too old for Mr Grey but makeup can do amazing things.  If they could make him look younger, he’d be the perfect talk, dark and handsome Mr Grey with a scary side to him.

2. Jensen Ackles

Jensen Ackles stars in the TV show Supernatural. He has that mysterious look.

3. Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling may be too pretty boy for the role. But he’s so nice to look at.

4. Bradley Cooper

Oh my, this is definitely one of many I see as Christian Grey.  That chiseled jaw, those dark eyes. The sexiness just oozes out of Bradley Cooper.

6. Gerard Butler

Gerard Butler also may be a bit old for the role but if you saw Law Abiding Citizen, you know he can play the intense role of Christian Grey.

7. Colin Farrel

Colin Farrel has the bad boy attitude and that look alone clinches it for me.

8. Jonathan Rhys Meyers

Jonathan Rhys Meyers may not be well known but those eyes look like Mr Grey to me.

9. Ian Somerhalder

Speaking of eyes.  Ian Somerhalder has the dangerous look and could pull off the role.

10. William Levy

If you watch Dancing with the Stars, you know who William Levy is and you’ve seen his chest.  Now imagine seeing more of him as Mr Grey.  Yes please.

11. Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow may be a football player, but he has the look.  Those eyes and that jaw are what I see when I’m reading my Fifty Shades.

12. John Barrowman

Many Fifty Shades fans are also pushing for John Barrowman to star in the role.  I’m not so sure.  They could choose worse.
