When they released their debut album in 1967, they went on to be one of the most controversial and influential rock acts of the sixties. Jim Morrison's early death in Paris in 1971 only insured the legend of the band. Sadly, Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek died yesterday (May 20th, 2013) after a "lengthy battle with bile duct cancer." He was 74.
