Sunday was the 2015 Utica Boilermaker Road Race, and just like years before, it was a packed and exciting event! Thousands and thousands of people gathered to run the race, while tons more stood along the sidelines - cheering on the runners.

This was my first Boilermaker experience, and it was absolutely amazing! I have never seen so many runners, so many people all in one area - doing something like this. It was really inspiring. Seriously, it made me want to start exercising, and getting into shape. Maybe one day I'll be able to run the Boilermaker... maybe I'll be able to next year!

What an absolutely amazing event. I'm not going to lie, the wheelchair race left me in tears. I was in shock - the determination of these athletes, the ability... words cannot describe how it made me feel... It was just unbelievable. I don't think I've ever felt so proud of Utica, as I did watching the Boilermaker!
