Thanks to our Morning Mindbender questions, I've learned just how much I don't know about Thanksgiving. These cute kids don't have all of their Turkey day facts straight either, and it's absolutely precious!

Today I learned that The Mayflower wasn't the only ship that the pilgrims sailed to America on. There was another ship called the Speedwell. Who knew right?! I also discovered that Turkeys can run up to 20 mph and only male turkeys gobble; female turkeys cackle.

Speaking of turkeys, do you know how the birds got their name? Years ago, Europeans acquired a fondness for guinea fowls and imported them to the continent. According to CNN.com:

Later, when the Spaniards came to America, they found a bird that tasted like those guinea fowls. When they were sent to Europe, the English called these birds "turkeys" as well.

The average American eats between 16 and 18 pounds of turkey each year, and largest turkey on record is 86 lbs. How long do you think that bird would take to roast?

The little ones in this video don't have all their turkeys in a row, but that's what makes it so entertaining.
