Marcus Grodd may not have found his soul mate in Andi Dorfman on the ‘The Bachelorette,’ but he found his true love in Lacy Faddoul on ‘Bachelor in Paradise.’

The 25-year-old sports medicine manager made it as a finalist in the current season of the ‘Bachelorette,’ but it was on ABC’s latest spin-off that he got his happy ending. A source revealed to Us Weekly that Marcus and Lacy, a contestant originally from Juan Pablo Galavis’ memorable season of the ‘The Bachelor,’ got engaged on ‘Bachelor in Paradise.’ The new show wrapped filming in June and will air next month.

Marcus first thought he found a fiancée in Andi, who he claimed meant “everything” to him. “Andi is my soul mate. I feel that with her,” he insisted on the show, according to Us. “I’m ready to propose to her.”

Though he made it all the way to the hometown visits, Andi didn’t quite feel the same spark that her beau did, and he was sent home shortly after. “I feel like an idiot,” he cried. “I believed in something that wasn’t there. The sad thing is, I’m still gonna miss her. I’m still in love with her.”

Lacy must have soothed his broken heart on ‘Bachelor in Paradise,’ but we’ll have to wait until its premiere on Aug. 4 at 8PM ET to find out how the romance blossomed!
