What time do you hit the hay? If you live in portions of the Tug Hill Plateau and Adirondacks, chances are it's much earlier than others in New York State.

This map, first published on the Jawbone Blog, shows the average bedtimes of residents of each state in America.

The earliest bedtimes in New York State are in Lewis County (11:08PM) and Hamilton County (11:14PM).

Tompkins County, home to night owl college students that live in Ithaca have a later bed time average of 11:48PM. But that's not the latest bedtime in New York. That honor goes to Brooklyn. Kings County residents have an average bedtime of 12:07AM, the latest bedtime in the county.

Oneida and Herkimer County residents have a very average, and similar, bedtimes of 11:26 and 11:27 respectively.
