The Black River Environmental Improvement Association (BRIEA) cross-country ski trails are set to open with groomed trails at Jackson Hill this Saturday.

The group is posting daily updates on their website. They are able to groom the trails at Jackson Hill and open the warming hut on Saturday.  At Jackson Hill you'll find

3-6" fresh powder with no base. Grooming possible for the first time this season before Saturday. Warming Hut opens when grooming begins.

There is no grooming of trails possible along the canal or at the Egypt Road trail system.
