A brawl broke out near the St Patrick's Day parade in Syracuse. In a video posted on YouTube, a dozen people can be seen fighting while dozens more watch.

Several people are seen punching and kicking a man down on the street. More join in the fray before police arrive and the crowd scatters.

Officer were called to the area twice, but no one arrested, according to Syracuse.com.

Unfortunately, idiotic drunken celebrations surrounding St. Patrick's Day are not a new phenomenon. In 2011 Albany made national headlines for the riotous fights that broke out surrounding a "Kegs and Eggs" event.
