The city of Buffalo is set to strictly regulate the use of e-cigarettes.

Currently there is a state-wide ban on the sale of e-cigarettes to anyone under the age of 18. According to the Buffalo News, the city's common council is looking to ban

electronic cigarette smoking would be prohibited on buses and in theaters, city-owned and leased buildings, and many large retail and wholesale stores.

The ban would also include city schools, with exemptions made for adults using faculty rooms or other designated areas.

According to Smoke-Free.org, the only other jurisdictions in the state that regulate the use of e-cigarettes are New York City, and the counties of Cattaraugus, Suffolk and Tompkins.
