You've probably already heard that Chick-fil-A is coming to Cicero, but now the franchise has set their tentative opening date.

If you're a fan of Chick-fil-A, a drive from the Utica/Rome area to Cicero isn't that big of a deal to get your "Chicken Deluxe Sandwich" or "Spicy Chicken Sandwich," but you've been wondering when the doors are going to open on this new location.

Well, we're getting closer to that opening date, with it only being a few weeks away. According to Syracuse.com, construction is still being done on the new restaurant. But they do plan to be open for business on Thursday, February 22nd.

Back in 2016, it was announced that Chick-fil-A was looking at Halfmoon, New York as an option to open one of their restaurants in. But it looks like those plans have fallen through (or at least, have been stalled). Most of Chick-fil-A's current restaurants are located in the southeast and southwest, although there are a few in and near New York City, and even some in northern Pennsylvania.

How do you feel about Chick-fil-A as another food option in Central New York? Will you be willing to drive to Cicero to have it? Are you unhappy about Chick-fil-A coming to CNY? Let us know - Leave us a comment or message on our Lite 98.7 Facebook Page.
