No plans this weekend? Or if you have a little bit of free time and would like to fill it with something to do in CNY, you can check out one of these events.

Start your Saturday morning with a trip to the Oneida County Public Market. If you have never made a stop to the public market, now is you chance. Head over to Union Station in Utica (it's inside the main lobby, now that we're into cooler weather) - The market runs from 9am to 1pm. You'll find amazing local treats from gourmet bacon, jams and jellies, to flower and herbs, candles, and fresh veggies. And that's just SOME of the things you'll get to check out. You can see a full list of vendors that will be there, here.

How about grabbing a delicious dinner, with money going for a great cause? The Poland Volunteer Fire Auxiliary is holding a roast beef dinner on Saturday. The dinner starts at 3pm and goes until they sell out. Stop by the Adirondack Post 1118 in Cold Brook for a nice meal.
