We're heading into Memorial Day weekend, which means towns and cities throughout Central New York will be holding their Memorial Day Parades.

Not every place holds a Memorial Day Parade, but quite a few areas in CNY do. We've collected some information on the parades that we know will be going on this weekend and on Memorial Day Monday.

Canastota: Monday, May 28th at Roberts Street Middle School. The parade begins at 10am.

Clinton: Monday, May 28th starting at 9am. The parade will start at the College Street Bridge. Ceremonies will follow at the Village Green right after the parade, with a special speaker, Major William P. Smith.

Herkimer: Monday, May 28th starting at 1pm (with the lineup at 12pm at the parking lot across from the county building on Washington St).

New Hartford: Monday, May 28th at the New Hartford Shopping Center. Line up and set up will begin at 5:30pm with the parade beginning at 7pm.

Old Forge: Monday, May 28th. The parade will wrap up the "Red, White, and Blue: Spring Into Summer Celebration" at 10am. You can watch it as it makes its way down Main Street.

Oneida: Friday, May 25th at St. Patrick's School on Elizabeth Street. The parade starts at 7pm.

Whitesboro: Monday, May 28th. The parade starts at 9:30am and will make its way down Main Street.

Of course, there's sure to be other parades and events throughout our area. If you know of a parade or special Memorial Day event you would like us to add to the list, just let us know. You can always leave us a comment or message on our Lite 98.7 Facebook Page.
