The calendar says it's time, now all we need is the weather to cooperate.  As of Saturday, May 27th, Delta Lake State Park beach is open for the season.  The lifeguarded beach will be open weekends until mid-June, when they will then be open every day until Labor Day.

According to parks.ny.gov, the fee for the beach is included in the daily vehicle entry fee of $7.  You can pay a one-time fee for the season with an Empire Pass card for $80, and a vehicle sticker for $65.

Besides the beach and the campsites at Delta Lake State Park, you'll find hiking trails, fishing spots, playgrounds, pavilions, showers, picnic tables, a boat launch and restrooms.
