A benefit for Doug Haman whose battling stage 4 cancer will take place on Saturday November 14th from 2PM - 6PM at the Schuyler VFW. All proceeds from this event will be going to the Haman family to help defer any out of pocket medical expenses.

After a lifetime of helping anyone in need, it was discovered, through a fall that broke Doug Haman's right arm, that he had Stage 4 Cancer. A man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone is now in need of a special touch of love and care as he battles this deadly disease. The cancer discovered is in his whole body. Treatment is very difficult and tiring, as well as expensive.

We want to do something to show Doug how much he is loved and how much we appreciate all the things he has done for all of us by providing some financial relief so that he can concentrate on his health and not his medical debt.

His grandchildren are putting on a benefit to show, in a tangible way, how much he is loved. This will allow those around him to share in a day just for him. This benefit will only be a drop in the financial bucket and cannot reach everyone. If you are in a financial position to help this loving man, we will gladly accept.
