Extra Fresh Food Distribution date for August, 2015

Holy Family Church Parish Center is holding a fresh food distribution on August 7th from 3Pm - 5PM in Vernon. You do not have to be registered at the food pantry to participate in this program.

This is a food distribution program sponsored by the Central New York Food Bank. Basically it consists of a large variety of foods donated by various retail chains in the Syracuse area delivered to a designated local food pantry on a regular basis. In our particular case this normally takes takes place on the fourth Thursday of each month. However this August there will one EXTRA Fresh Food distribution day and that will be August 7th, 2015.

You do not have to be registered at our food pantry to participate in this program. The only requirement set by the Food Bank of Central New York is that you have a need of supplemental foods.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to distribution time to participate in the number selection process. This is a lottery system and each individual will draw a number to determine the order of distribution.

Doors will open at 2:15 to sign in and draw your number.

Distribution of food products begins approximately 3:00 PM at which time you will be called in accordance with the number your drew.
