Who Says History Can't Be Funny? The Herkimer County Historical Society will be holding their 4th annual Roast fundraising event and this year's "honoree" is New York State Assemblyman Marc Butler. The evening of laughter will be held on Thursday, October 8 at 6:00 p.m. at the Travelodge in Little Falls. Assemblyman Butler has been one of the Society's featured roasters for the past two years for their Roasts of Herkimer County Chamber of Commerce director John Scarano and Herkimer County Clerk Sylvia Rowan and now it’s his turn in the hot seat.

Helping to roast Butler that evening year are JOHN SCARANO, returning Roastmaster who has some pay-back coming, GEORGE ANEY, well known Herkimer attorney and fellow Republican Party state committee representative, HANK BROWN, well remembered Utica radio host who is coming out of retirement just to roast our assemblyman, BILL KEELER, WIBX’s popular Morning Radio Show host who will liven up the evening, and DAVID PARMON, Newport resident and good friend.

Tickets are $30.00/person and can be purchased ahead of time at the Historical Society, 406 N. Main St., Herkimer, NY, open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. or by sending a check in the mail to: Herkimer County Historical Society, 400 N. Main Street, Herkimer, NY 13350.
