Additional Information

On Tuesday, April 7, Mohawk Valley Community College will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Alumni College Center, Room 116, on its Utica Campus.

Blood is a perishable product that can only come from generous volunteers. By donating blood, individuals can make a difference in the lives of patients in their community and throughout the nation.

"The Red Cross is grateful for the support of Mohawk Valley Community College," said Cara Leyna Noble, Communications Manager for the New York-Penn Blood Services Region. "Every student, staff, alumnus or community member who donates blood at this blood drive is helping give hope and a chance to create memories that will last a lifetime for patients in the Utica area, across New York State or across the country."

Walk-ins are welcome. However, eligible donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment to give blood by contacting Marie Kohl at mkohl@mvcc.edu or calling 792-5340. All presenting donors will receive a special Red Cross and MVCC t-shirt, while supplies last.
