Fatherhood May Tame The Wild Man
You can never change the way someone is it seems. One of the best quotes I've ever heard is that leopards don't change spots. But that may not be the case anymore.
According to a new study, fatherhood tames wild men. This has a huge impact on crime, as well as tobacco, alcohol and drug use. Researchers from Oregon State University found that the older men are when they become fathers, the greater the impact.
For example, men who are well into their 20s and early 30s when they became fathers have greater decreases in crime and alcohol use, compared to those who had their first child in their teens or early 20s.
