The Finger Lakes Region Makes the Cut as a Top Travel Destination

Yahoo Travel compiled their list of the top American road trip destinations and the New York Finger Lakes Region made the list!

A big congratulations to the Finger Lakes Region! Apparently word has gotten out on all this area has to offer. And it's not just the beautiful scenery (I mean, that's worth a visit in itself), but also the shopping, museums, and outdoor activities.

Yahoo Travel posted an article of the '5 Must-Do American Road Trips,' and the Finger Lakes Region made the cut. According to Yahoo Travel, New York's Finger Lake Region

...offers a road trip with lots of high-adrenaline adventure: think hiking under waterfalls, biking, hang-gliding, hot air ballooning, and more. Foodies can enjoy farm-to-table dining options, a Cheese Trail and Sweet Treat Trail, and cooking classes at the New York Wine and Culinary Center.

The article goes on about the Finger Lakes Beer Trail, and even mentions the Great New York State Fair.

Seeing as this was a list of only five destinations, I think New York is doing pretty well. Think of all the places that didn't make the list! I can't wait to check out this area, and it has already been added as one of my stops for 'New to Naomi.'
