First Segment of New Marcy-SUNY IT Parkway Opens

The first segment of a new access road to SUNY IT in the town of Marcy has opened to traffic.  The road, dubbed the Marcy-SUNY IT Parkway which replaces the alignment of Edic Road has opened between River Road and a roundabout at Technology Drive, which accesses the SUNY IT campus.

Beyond Technology Drive the road, also signed as Oneida County Route 34, will bypass the tricky hill on Edic Road near Hazard Road and will rejoin with Edic north of the campus.
