Kanye West, the Lumineers, Miguel, Azealia Banks, Nas and more are confirmed for the 2013 Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City, which takes over Randall's Island from June 7-9.

The lineup was revealed via an unusual video (see above) and on the event's official website. Full of indie rock, hip-hop and EDM acts, the lineup also features Kendrick Lamar, Feist, Of Monsters and Men, Erykah Badu, Pretty Lights and the Avett Brothers.

Kanye has a mixed history with music festivals so it will be interesting to see how things shake out for his Governors Ball performance. He once went on two hours late at Bonnaroo, taking the stage at 4:30 am to a chorus of boos, but he redeemed himself a few months later with a gripping Lollapalooza headlining set.

The official Governors Ball lineup poster has one name crossed out underneath headliners Kanye West and Kings of Leon. It's unclear at the moment whether that artist canceled, or if the fest is saving the announcement of that big name for a later date.

Tickets for the third annual event go on sale this Friday, Jan. 25, at noon ET at the earlybird price of $190 for a 3-day pass.
