Hold on to your wannabe wands, Muggles -- we've got a huge 'Harry Potter' update for you.

First, the 'HP' spinoff 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' has found a director in David Yates, who directed four of the 'Potter' films.

Variety reports that Yates will tackle 'Fantastic Beasts,' a trilogy franchise named after the Hogwarts textbook of the same name. Yates is set to direct the first film, which will follow the Hogwarts text's author, Newt Scamander. J.K. Rowling is set to make her screenwriting debut on the film, which is set seventy years before the beginning of the 'Harry Potter' series.

In other 'HP' news, Daniel Radcliffe recently played one killer round of "Snog, Marry, Avoid" -- only with one seriously random assortment of 'Harry Potter' characters. The 'What If' actor revealed that he'd avoid Dudley Dursley (the character's mean-spirited cousin), marry ghost Nearly Headless Nick and snog (aka, make out with) Professor Dolores Umbridge. Whoa, we didn't see that one coming!

Watch Daniel Radcliffe play the game in the video below.
