History Channel to Profile ‘Great Lake Warriors’ [VIDEO]
It might be difficult to imagine as you’re spending an afternoon swimming in a placid mid-summer Lake Ontario, but the Great Lakes can be extremely dangerous waters. The History Channel is set to take a look at the unknown dangers of these very familiar bodies of water with a new series called Great Lake Warrior.
Set to debut next Thursday (July 19) at 10, the show will profile those who make their living moving cargo on the dangerous lakes. The series is set to focus on two key areas of Great Lakes trade, on the steel mills of Gary, Indiana near Chicago and the westernmost outpost of the lakes at Duluth, Minnesota.
