Is This Restaurant Ad a Triumph of Bad Filmmaking?
Local ads are not exactly noted for their abundance of talent and skill. That said, they do at least generally manage to either be hilariously unconvincing or at least aware of the fact that they’re ads and thus nobody has high standards.
Unless, apparently, you’re the owner of “The Place”.
Before we show you this video, we want to emphasize: this is not a joke. This video is posted prominently on their website. This is completely real.
We’re not sure what makes this funnier: the staged tour through the restaurant? The terrible acting? The bizarre, disjointed editing? The fact that it actually looks pretty good, visually? We almost feel bad laughing at it.
Almost.
