Katharine McPheeSMASH legend, Scorpion goddess, American Idol finalist and open-toed shoe connoisseur — has at long last returned to us.

Feeling faint? A little sweaty, perhaps? Yep: That's the McPheever kicking in once again.

It's been three long years since McPhee last dropped her last bout of musical bliss (the criminally overlooked SMASH club killer "Touch Me" — #JUSTICEFORTOUCHME), but the drop dead gorgeous diva is back just in time to serve up the equivalent of a sweet sonic sundae in the form of "Kiss My Lips."

The delightfully flirty jam, which provides shimmers of early Mariah Carey and Katy Perry's "Birthday" (which is also a nod to early Mariah Carey), has all the makings of a short 'n sweet, sugary summer hit. (Yes, it's less than 3 minutes. The impact of "Pretty Girls"!)

"You make me lick my lips, you're my favorite flavor / When we kiss, I just wanna savor every drop of it," McPhee coos in all her wink-wink, nudge-nudge glory across the glossy pop cut, co-penned by Isabella Summers of Florence & The Machine and Sam Sparro.

And as for the video? Diane Martel, responsible for Miley's "We Can't Stop," Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and Nicki Minaj's "Pills N Potions," keeps her signature so-weird-its-great-or-maybe-just-uncomfortable brand strong with Kat serving BumpIt greatness in the supremely bizarre clip. Perplexed models give us Grease moments with leather jackets, oversized combs (sure!) and jukeboxes. Also, big pictures of pie and milkshakes! What's going on exactly? Is that a golf course? Who or what even? No one in this video knows...and that's quite alright.

But, really: This song could be huge for Kat! The song's a breezy earworm for the first play, and could slide in quite nicely on radio alongside jams like Jason Derulo's "Want To Want Me." Also, the video is so weird! It's wonderful. Everything is wonderful.

Let the McPheemanciation begin.
