So the in-laws may be coming to town… Maybe you have to cook an amazing Thanksgiving dinner… This time of year can bring a lot of stress.

Keep yourself from pulling your hair out!

1 - Plan

There’s always so much to do. Not having at least a basic plan, can definitely overwhelm you. Figure out exactly what you need to do, things you need to buy, when everything needs to be done…. Get all your ideas together.

2 - Write It All Down

You can’t expect yourself to remember every little thing that needs to be done. Write it down, and save yourself some sanity. Plus, when you can cross things off your list, you’ll see that you’re actually making progress. It’ll help you see that you are getting somewhere, and there is end.

3 - Some Things Are Out Of Your Control...

You came up with a plan and it’s written down. You have all the details, everything you need. Realize, no matter how much you plan, some things are just out of your control.

So the weather was bad, and your in-laws need to be picked up from the airport at a later time. Okay, now you have more time to get things done before you pick them up. Every little bump in the road, gives you opportunity to do something else.

4 - Remember What This Time Of Year Is All About

Family, friends, people who love and care about you -  This is the time of year to remember all the things we have to be thankful for. Your in-laws may get under your skin sometimes, but they're family. And if you think about it, even with all the things that could possibly go wrong… We are all truly blessed for everything we have!
