‘Kick Cancer’ – Adult Kickball Tournament for a Great Cause
Who says kickball is just for kids? You can play too, and the money raised is going to help in the fight against cancer.
Even if you haven't played kickball since elementary school, you can come out and play for a great cause. It's the 5th annual "Kick Cancer Kickball Tournament." A great way to get outside, enjoy some fresh air and get moving around, and raise some money.
The event is Saturday May 21st starting at 9am (if it rains, there will be a makeup date the following Saturday). According to the Syracuse Sports Association,
We will have 3 divisions - Beginners for teams that have not played kickball since grammar school - but know the fundamentals of the game.
Intermediate for teams that have played multiple seasons of kickball recently and have won there divisions or championships.
And a Media Division for all the local media personalities!
Cost is $25 per person and ALL the proceeds will be going to the SUNY Upstate Cancer Center.
