They call it the "Chill Factor 40," and it was scheduled for Sunday, April 2nd at the Utica-Rome Speedway in Vernon.  However, the late season snowfall and lack of some warmer temperatures on the horizon has forced the auto racetrack to cancel the event.

According to their website, uticaromespeedway.com, this season's opening day has been moved to April 23rd.  On that night, the speedway will host 360 Sprint Car Open Gladiator Twin 20's plus DIRTcar Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman and DIRTcar Pro Stocks.  It will be the first points-event of the season.
