During a storm on May 30th, lightning struck the home rented by Domenico and Cassy Leone. The fire quickly spread throughout the 2nd story which caused the floor to collapse onto everything on the 1st story.

Almost all of their possessions were ruined by the fire, or due to smoke and water damage. Thankfully, no one was injured and because of the quick actions of the first responders, their family dog, Princess, was able to be pulled safely from her crate.

A benefit will be held on August 2nd at the North Bay Volunteer Fire Department Pole Barn on Route 49 from 1PM - 5PM. The cost to get in is $10 per person, and kids under 5 are free. There will be plenty of food, raffles, and entertainment by Still Kickin' and Tune 440. For more info contact David at 939-2967.
