Utica has had its share of rogue bovines wandering the neighborhood, and now the trend of hoofing cows continues; now it's happening in New York City.

A cow embarked on a freedom run in Queens. He escaped from a slaughterhouse  and was obviously on a quest to save his life.  The cow fled from the Jamaica Archer Live Poultry and Meat Market at 92-56 165th. According to New York Post:

“He was very happy. He was like ‘wow, I’m in the streets running!’ He was running back and forth, but he didn’t do anything to anybody,” said an employee at the nearby Pushka Pawn Shop off of Jamaica Avenue who would only identify herself as Carolina.

The cow eventually wandered into a parking garage where he was successfully wrangled by the NYPD's Emergency Services Unit.

Earlier this year a bull named Norm decided to take local law enforcement officials on a wild goose, I mean cow chase all over the Mohawk Valley. Before he was captured, Norm made stops in New Hartford, Rome, and Utica.  He was eventually wrangled by couple of cowboys from Argyle, but remained on the loose for nearly four months before he was finally lassoed.
