President Barack Obama Earns Re-election By Winning Ohio, Other Crucial Battleground States

Most major news networks have called the 2012 president election for Barack Obama.  The Democrat from Illinois has earned a second term in the Oval Office by defeating Mitt Romney.

President Obama’s path to victory wound through crucial battleground states like Ohio and Pennsylvania.

While it’s academic, at this hour (11:30PM) Florida, Virginia and Colorado remain too close to call.

Also too close to call is the final tally for the popular vote.
