Queen Latifah may be ready to embrace motherhood.

As a rapper, singer and actress, the 45-year-old entertainer is a triple threat. And now she's ready to add another job title to her resume -- mom.

“I’m little bit of a procrastinator,” said Latifah in an interview with E! Online. “I had some things to deal with. I had to get a lot of partying out of my system early in life for about 40 years. You know what I’m saying. I’m good now. I think I’m ready.”

The "Just Another Day" rapper revealed that she's seriously considering adoption.

“Maybe I’ll adopt a child that’s not necessarily a baby,” she said. “There are a lot of kids that need love out there. I want to be there for somebody. I got to get all this stuff and give it somebody.”

Either way, she seems to be leaving it in God's hands.

“I’ve definitely been through things in life that have tested my faith and had me asking a lot of questions and really having some serious conversations with God, like ‘Why?’ and ‘What is this?’ she said. “I’ve never lost faith…I have a tattoo on my back that says ‘faith.'”

Latifah is in the midst of promoting her forthcoming film, Miracles From Heaven. The movie, which hits theaters on March 16, follows a 10-year-old girl who is miraculously cured from a chronic disorder. Check out the trailer here.
