Laurie Cabot has been a staple in the Salem, Massachusetts Pagan community for years. Her store, The Official Witch Shoppe, has recently closed its doors, but will still live on as an internet store. She is the founder of the Cabot Kent Hermetic Temple, which teaches its practitioners to live proudly and with integrity as witches. Oh, and she was in the music video for Godsmack’s hit song ‘Voodoo,’ which obviously takes her legit level straight to the max.

Another famous member of the Witch City’s Pagan community, Lori Bruno is renowned for being a Hereditary Sicilian Strega and High Priestess as well as being skilled in psychic readings. Patricia Cornwell even based her Dr. Kay Scarpetta character off Bruno because she can see “beyond the veil.”

She is the founder of Our Lord and Lady of the Trinarcrian Rose Church and has been a guest on the ‘Hex Education’ podcast since 2009. Lori started out performing readings at the store Hex: Old World Witchcraft and Witchery but has recently announced that she will open her own store, called Magika where Laurie Cabot’s shoppe once stood.

Best known for his books on Neo-Wicca, especially ‘Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner,’ Cunningham was skilled at taking sometimes difficult or abstract concepts found in Wicca and Paganism and making them easy to understand. He felt Wicca shouldn’t be so secretive and its teachings should be accessible to all, which sparked some controversy. For a time, he studied under Raven Grimmassi’s wing and was an active practitioner of magic for over 20 years. Cunningham passed away due to lymphoma, but his books are still around today.
