Have you ever wanted to try salt therapy before? Well you'll be able to have your chance soon in Syracuse!

According to syracuse.com, Bodymind Float Center, after opening in Rochester in 2013, is making its way into Syracuse in early February. It's going to be the only salt therapy clinic avaible in the Syracuse area.

Salt therapy, or halotherapy, is supposed to mimic the naturally occurring salt springs in Eastern Europe. You sit in a specially designed floating tank with warm water and 800 pounds of dissolved salt in a room where a generator grinds pharmaceutical-grade sodium chloride into micro-particles. Flotation tanks were first used in 1954 to test the effects of sensory deprivation, but are now used all over the U.S. for these treatments.

There are many benefits to salt therapy, including an increase in energy, fewer respiratory illnesses, decrease in stress and anxiety, and so much more.
