Shooting Reported in North Utica
June 13, 2012 10:40 PM The quiet North Utica neighborhood near Kennedy Middle School was the scene of a reported shooting on Wednesday night. Police and ambulances were called to the area of Mapledale Ave near Elmhurst.
The Utica Observer-Dispatch is reporting that
person … has suffered a reported gunshot wound to the chest.
Police responded at about 9:15 p.m. to 725 Mapledale Ave., which has been cordoned off in the front with yellow police tape.
Police have been scouring the area, and at 9:50 p.m. a Utica Fire Department ambulance left the scene and was reportedly headed to a local hospital.
