Soldier’s Wife Jenna Hinman Passes Away After Two Month Cancer Battle
After fighting for two months, Jenna Hinman, wife of Ft Drum SGT Brandon Hinman, has passed away. The heartbreaking news was posted on Prayers For Jenna's Facebook page, 'Today our hearts are broken. We are devastated to inform you that Jenna has suddenly passed away after a courageous two month fight against cancer.'
Jenna developed pneumonia over the weekend after recovering slowly but steadily the last few weeks, even getting to hold her twin daughters, Azlynn and Kinleigh for the first time Easter weekend.
Despite the thousands of people, from around the world, who've followed Jenna's courageous journey, the family is asking for privacy to mourn the loss of a wife, mother, daughter.
'We kindly ask that Jenna's family and loved ones have the opportunity to mourn with privacy. Jenna fought this disease with everything she had and we are so proud of her amazing courage and for blessing the world with two precious little angel.'
Jenna's battle began in March when she gave birth to premature twin girls and was diagnosed with a rare pregnancy related cancer called choriocarcinoma.
Jenna's story touched thousands and her loss is felt around the world. Our thoughts and prayer are with the Hinman family. We pray those adorable twin babies know how much their mother was loved and feel her with them every day.
