January 23, 2013 If you've been following me since I started blogging back in July, you'll know that lip-syncing is a hot button for me anyway and you can read that article here. That post goes more into depth about the science and 'ethics' so I'll try not to here. People have been lip syncing since as early as the 70's and this continues to find it's way into our water-cooler discussions. So did Beyonce get caught mouthing our National Anthem?
No wonder Beyonce's performance of the National Anthem at the second inauguration of President Barack Obama (Jan. 21) was so perfect. Turns out the singer was lip-syncing the entire time, so there was no room for error since it was pre-recorded.
President Barack Obama, our 44th president, has been sworn in for his second term, and the inauguration was exactly the star-studded occasion we've come to expect from our celeb-popular Commander-in-Chief.
Case in point: Musical performances included James Taylor singing 'America the Beautiful,' followed by Kelly Clarkson's rendition of 'America (My Country 'Tis of Thee),' and Beyonce wrapping things up with 'The Star-Spangled Banner.'
January 22, 2013 Well, these aren't technically photobombs because the politicians didn't throw themselves into the pics but Bill and Chuck were rather caught in a split-second in time and probably weren't even looking at Beyonce and Kelly but cameras are funny like that, angle is everything! God, they look so creepy! My head is cooking up all KINDS of captions for these photos!!
