Bobbi Kristina Brown has had an understandably difficult time dealing with the shocking and untimely death of her mother, Whitney Houston. Following Houston’s passing last month, Bobby Brown reportedly attempted to reach out to his daughter, but Bobbi Kristina and Houston’s family were said to be pushing him away.
Now, Bobbi Kristina is taking her alienation of her father to another level: She wants to change her name to just “Kristina Houston.”

Reports say that Bobby Brown still has not seen his daughter, three days after his ex wife's Whitney Houston's death. According to TMZ.com, Bobby allegedly thinks that Whitney's family, specifically her mom, Cissy Houston, is trying to keep him away. Sources close to Bobby said that he has been called the family and attempted to physically see her but has been constantly turned away.
Bobby Brown is currently in Los Angeles to be by the side of his emotionally-wrought daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, who has been hospitalized since the untimely death of her mother, Whitney Houston.
According to People, Brown arrived at LAX airport Sunday night (Feb. 12) at 9PM with a posse of handlers. “Bobby had a blank stare and looked exhausted,” noticed one onlooker. “His friends seemed concerned about him and they surrounded him as they walked through the airport.”
