UPDATE 10:05am - Authorities say that 5 to 15 people may have died in last night's massive explosion at the West Fertilizer Plant in West, Texas. Many more, perhaps more than 160, were injured.

Utica firefighters were called to a large blaze on the city's west side late on Sunday evening. The blaze, reported on the UFD's facebook page to be at 1207 Whitesboro Street, was brought under control early Monday morning.

August 2, 2012 Yesterday dozens of fire crews fought a major fire at the former Union Tools, also known as Frankfort Fork and Hoe in the village. The buildings in the complex were uninhabited and were being prepared for demolition. Whiteboro Fire Department, one of the mutual aid departments who responded has posted some stunning photos on Facebook.
