Now that the mystery of Game of Thrones Season 6 has come to an end, the final seasons remained an open question for HBO, between reports of truncated episode orders and delayed production. Game of Thrones didn’t drop too many spoilers of George R.R. Martin’s Winds of Winter by the first trailer, but the author himself has acknowledged the likelihood of some readers learning ahead of others. Game of Thrones Season 6 has enough mysteries on its plate to fill a banquet, but one among them has gone largely overlooked. The 2015 Emmy Awards have reached their biggest award of the night, and only one can win the statue. Game of Thrones has officially taken home the statue for Outstanding Drama Series, and very surprisingly so.
