We have a new Hunk of the Day for you — one you probably hadn’t heard of until the Curiosity rover landing. Bobak Ferdowsi works for NASA but he isn’t the typical dweeby scientist.

If anything shows the decline of the popularity of the decathlon, it’s the fact that Bruce Jenner is now more famous for his reality television show appearances and overdone plastic surgery than his Olympic win in 1976. But we think Ashton Eaton is the one who will bring the sport back to its rightful spotlight. He’s the perfect mix of accomplished athlete and absolute hottie.

Troy Dumais was all smiles on the podium when he and synchronized diving partner Kristian Ipsen won bronze in the three meter springboard event in London. Dumais has been waiting a long time for this medal, and so winning was especially sweet.

These gymnasts may not be tall, but boy are they ripped. Sam Mikulak is another cutie on the US Olympic team, competing in the London Games.

Tony Azevedo is currently the captain of a very hunky team — the United States men’s 2012 water polo team. And while he’s leading his handsome teammates in the London games, he’s also the leading man in our hearts.

No one thought that the chubby asthmatic toddler back in Cuba would ever turn into an athlete. Luckily, Danell Leyva developed into one sexy gymnast. At 20 years old the Cuban-American is competing in the London Olympic Games for the US and specializes in the parallel bars and horizontal bar events.

Yes, we have another swimming Hunk of the Day but it’s not the well known Michael Phelps or Ryan Lochte, or even the hunky Cullen Jones. Anthony Ervin is our new favorite swimmer in the Olympic race to steal our hearts.

On last night’s episode of ‘Covert Affairs,’ former CIA operative Auggie Anderson, played by Christopher Gorham, was visiting Parker in Africa when a situation develops. This trip may have turned out unlucky for Auggie, but it was definitely lucky for us because we were treated to another shirtless Auggie episode.

Benoit Paire may be ranked 50th in tennis, but he’s number one in our hearts. If you’re getting sick Rafael Nadal or Andy Roddick, this French heartthrob may be the one for you. He may not be at the top of the tennis charts, but he has made seven appearances at the Grand Slam level, and at only 23 years old, we hope to be seeing a lot more of him in the future.

If you think all runners are just skin and bones, then you haven’t seen the Olympic sprinters, and you definitely haven’t seen Jamaica’s Usain Bolt.

One of the best parts about the 2012 Olympics are the special Olympic issues of all the magazines, which usually have some shirtless man gracing their covers. This time around it’s rugby star Thom Evans and although he may not be an Olympian, he sure has the body of one.

Our early ’90s crushes are back, shirtless, and… mustached? Donnie Wahlberg tweeted this photo of New Kids on the Block in mustache solidarity, saying “After 3 months cultivating, countless insults, thousands of requests to shave the #stache.” Those mustaches may be hard to tear your eyes from, but don’t think we didn’t  notice those muscles in this bathroom pic.
