It's been a year today since Rebecca Black's “Friday” first hit the internet. Even a year later, it's still one of the worse songs you'll ever hear. It's the kind of song if you hear it once, it'll be stuck in your head for days.

Rebecca Black’s ‘Friday’ Gets Reworked for Kohl’s Black Friday Ad

Rebecca Black‘s ‘Friday’ was one of the biggest viral videos of 2011, and just when you though the song was dead, buried and gone from our collective consciousness, it’s getting a shot in the arm and dragged back to the forefront of pop culture in time for the holidays.

As reported by The FW, the song has been reworked for a Kohl’s Black Friday ad, with a zealous shopper (who has a little crazy in her eyes) singing about having to get to Kohl’s on Black Friday, Black Friday, Black Friday.

Benni Cinkle, Girl From Rebecca Black’s ‘Friday’ Music Video, Now Has Her Own Video [VIDEO]

Benni Cinkle didn’t want to go through life just being known as the pink-shirted girl dancing awkwardly in Rebecca Black‘s viral music video ‘Friday.’ So Cinkle has made her own video, and one with a socially conscious message: It addresses teen issues like eating disorders and cutting.

While Cinkle’s single ‘Can You See Me Now’ won’t be tearing up the charts anytime soon, it’s not nearly as bad as ‘Friday.’ Check it out  below.

‘Friday’ Viral Video Could Become Major Payday for Rebecca Black

Rebecca Black is apparently turning what some are calling the "worst song ever" into huge profits.

Forbes writer Chris Barth recently took a look at the digital sales and video streams for her now infamous (but admittedly catchy) song 'Friday.' Thus far, the video has over 30 million streams on YouTube, which has apparently translated into an estimated $20,000 -- a big profit, considering Black's mother paid Ark Music Factory a little over $2,000 for two songs and the 'Friday' video.

Overnight Sensation Rebecca Black – She’s Good or Terrible? [VIDEO]

Everyone is saying that this video & song is so bad, but, I think it's good (in a teen pop way). I want to play it during the Friday morning fun hour this week, pending management approval.

The web is obsessed with Rebecca Black, an unknown pop star who shot to fame with "Friday".

In the song, Rebecca is somewhat  poetic about anticipation for the weekend and driving around with her girlfriends, singing,
Kickin’ in the front seat/Sittin’ in the backseat/Gotta make my mind up/Which seat can I take?
Is Black just a sweet girl trying to make it in pop music or a clever kid trolling the music industry? Says PopCrush:
According to…Bohemian.com, the Los Angeles-based Ark Music Factory was hired to write ‘Friday’ and produce a paired video starring Black. No word on how much it cost, or what the therapy bills are going to be if the kid gets wind of what’s being said about her online.

Nevertheless I think she has potential.  check out the video
