Lady Liberty’s Torch Will Now Have Webcams
As heard on your information update this morning, internet users will now be able to see the view from the Statue of Liberty's torch when five webcams on it will be turned on Friday (October 28th) during a ceremony to commemorate the statue's dedication 125 years ago. The webcams, which will be on 24 hours a day, seven days a week, will offer four views, including a 180-degree view of New York Harbor, of visitors on Liberty Island below, and of the torch itself and Lady Liberty's tablet.
