Spring is about new beginnings. For Delilah, spring brings a promise of hope. Do you feel the same?

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! My Christmas decorations came down in January. Now I'm thinking about what spring flower decoration to put on my front door. As I drove around the Utica area this weekend, I saw lots of Christmas decorations still up. What's the deal with that? This is April.
Easter Sunday is the last day of the month. So far, the forecast looks pretty uneventful for the end of March and the beginning of April. You've heard the saying "If March comes in like a lion, it'll go out like a lamb." Is there any truth to that or is it simply folklore?
Only a few days until spring will be here. Delilah is as ready for it as you are. What will you be doing as this new season begins?
March 20th is the first day of spring. Are you anxious for spring to arrive? Me too. The cold temps we're having this week won't be missed when they're gone. I've already seen some things that are getting me thinking more and more about spring.
Today is the first day of Spring, the on which the Vernal Equinox falls. So what exactly is the vernal equinox?
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I'm expecting my first baby this Spring so naturally I find these videos to be irresistible. But let's face it, who doesn't love baby antics?
Yes, I thought Spring was coming. I put away the snow thrower (only to have to dig it out again this morning), and I cleaned out the hot tub for Spring dippin'. When my 2 year old took his afternoon nap, I jumped in. What the heck...I will not let Old Man Winter get the best of me. Unless, you hear me sneezing on the air tomorrow morning. :)
It's hard to imagine after the past nights snow storm that Spring is on its way. The groundhog said so anyways! Scientific evidence shows that as the days get warmer, we feel sexier! What does this mean?
Looking outside Sunday morning before our foot and more of snow, you could have imagined that spring was just a few more days away. This photo was taken in my backyard in West Utica: lots of lawn and a saturated ground thanks to all the melted snow
Building Frosty with my son Dylan & mommy is one of my fondest memories of Winter, but let's face it, enough already! I'm ready for Spring, how about you?
The Spring solstice or vernal equinox is the day in Spring when daytime and nightime are of equal length. This tends to happen around March 21st of each year. This year Spring arrives on Sunday March 20th, in just 16 days!
I will be so happy when this Winter is over. You may have heard me mention on the morning show that there are only 40 days till Spring. Yeah! But, the day I'm really looking forward to this year is Father's Day
