The folks from Made In Utica are always coming up with great ideas. And they're returning this August with a walkable music and arts festival in the places and spaces we love in Downtown Utica. It's the third annual Downtown Getdown, and it's presented again by AmeriCU Credit Union.

The big weekend is set for Friday and Saturday, August 24th and 25th. Some of the live music will be provided by Thomas D, Nick & Jay, Home Body, D’Funk’D, Apache Chief, and PHUNgEYE. And here's just a few of the great things going on:

-Franklin Square Film Series: The Mighty Ducks at dusk
-Oneida County Public Market Scavenger Hunt & Live Music
-Vendor Fair
-Live Art Jam
-Utica Yard Dolls Performance
-Observer-Dispatch Hot Dog Eating Contest Contest
-Little Ninjas Kids Adventure Course with Climb Chiropractic Sports Health
-Libraries Rock Puppet Show with The Guild of Thespian Puppets
