Turning Stone Resort Casino’s Gambling Floor Will Soon Be Smoke-Free
Coming up on November 16th, Turning Stone Resort Casino's gambling floor will be smoke-free. Smokers will be limited to their own mini-casino.
This mini-casino is called Casino Blu. It's currently being constructed on the gaming floor. According to Syracuse.com. the move is part of a $20 million upgrade of the casino and hotel resort that Oneida Indian Nation.
The smokers' refuge -- Casino Blu, to be enclosed by glass but with open entrance points -- will take up about a quarter of the existing 125,000-square-foot gaming floor. A state-of-the-art air filtration system will be installed to improve air quality, said Joel Barkin, speaking for the Oneida Nation.
Blu will also have its own bar, and the same gambling options as the main floor. According to Turning Stone, Casino Blu will feature a variety of slot machines with a wide range of titles including Power Keno, Super Power Keno, Cleopatra Keno, Caveman Keno and many more, as well as popular table games, including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, 3 Card Poker, Let it Ride and Spanish 21. Blu will open the same day the regular gaming floor goes smoke free, November 16th.
